Private Day tour from Marrakech to Asni, Ouirgane and Imlil

Our private day tour today takes you into two valleys in the foothills of the High Atlas, where small Berber villages perch on the mountainsides and the valleys are full of terraced fields of fruit trees and vegetables which sustain these remote villages. We arrive at the small town of Tahannaout that twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays has a big souk, the market where all the farmers from the surrounding area come together to buy and sell their produce, and discuss the local news. After visiting the Wadi Ghaghia Gorges, we will arrive in the busy market town of Asni: the country of the amethyst (macro crystalline). From here we take you along the beautiful valley to the remote village of Imlil, the start point of treks to the summit of Toubkal, the highest in North Africa and Morocco at 4167 metres. We continue our tour to the Azzadane valley and Ouirgane nestled in the foothills of the surrounding High Atlas; this is also called The Valley of Happiness. We return to Marrakech in the afternoon.
